Sick!

I am so sorry, my goal has been stepped on by a silly cold bug that seems to have attached itself to me and won't let go. It all started with my littlest lady who threw up all over me on Friday and since I had been stressing out and working hard on another project my body decided that it needed the flu/cold as well. Let's just say that I wasn't the only one. My husband went back to work today for the first time all week. Yup, sick! So I will add a week onto the month long of layouts. Sorry everyone! I hope you will stick around until I am better. See you all next week!

Miracle Layout

Here is a layout using the Miracle paper pack (X7133B), Treetops stamp set (C1368), Bohemian Alphabet (E1019), Kraft color-ready borders (Z1377), Sweet leaf stamp pad (Z2153) and a layout from Magic (9034) (if you couldn't tell I am lovin' the Magic book!). I also used one of the Memory Protectors Photo Storage Pages (4113) I just cut one in half to make the flippy, pully (made those terms up, I am not sure what the technical term is) photo strips.

Wings Layout

So here is a layout that uses the Wings paper pack (X7135B), some black pleated ribbon (Z1398), Lots of dots (Z1261, a few dimensional elements that Close to My Heart no longer carries :(, Headline Alphabet Large (E1011), a spray pen (Z1380), Create a shade pearl paint (Z1039), Vineyard Berry Re-Inker (Z2257), Black stamp pad (Z2105) and a layout from Magic (9034).

With this layout I did something a little different for the journaling. I wanted to add a little more visual interest so I made a 3x3 card and put that where the journaling would go. That way when you open the card you can see the journaling. It is a really fun technique that can be found in the Magic book.

Fanfare 2

Well here we are at day 4 with another Fanfare layout. This is the one that comes with instructions when you purchase the Fanfare Workshop on the Go ($29.95 G1021). To complete this layout I used Pacifica ink (Z2127 $5.25) as well as Cranberry ink (Z2116 $5.25). I also used the Classmate Alphabet (D1303 $22.95) and the big C in Celebrate is from the Friendship Alphabet Large (E1016 $34.95). As far as tools go, I used a piece of a sponge (Z697 $1.25), the piercing tool kit (Z1114 $5.95) and the 2" Scallop Circle Punch (Z1392 $14.95). (These are also all the things I used in yesterday's post along with the Magic How-to book 9034 $29.95).

And yes, these are pictures of my daughter's 4th birthday, the same one that I posted about yesterday and her first birthday. I guess I don't really scrapbook in order!

Fanfare

I really love the colors in the Fanfare papers! They matched perfectly with my daugther's first birthday pictures (and yes the said daughter is now 4! See I am a little behind!) This layout is the second layout that is featured in the Fanfare Workshop on the go. This kit comes with a ton of product. In fact I hardly used the embroidery floss and buttons, I love having leftovers! The colors for the ink are Pacifica and Cranberry. This layout sketch can be found in the Magic how-to book and is titled Charmed. The stamp set that comes with the Fanfare kit is a really versatile one that can be used for summer days (ice cream cone), birthday layout as well as birthday party invites.

Here are the close-ups!

I hope you guys have been busy scrapbooking because the linky party is coming up on Friday and there will be a giveaway for participants!

You and Me part 2

So today I am sharing the second layout that you can make using the You and Me Kit.

Once again I LOVE this kit. The b&t papers are cardstock weight and double sided and beautiful! The stamp set is going to become one of my favorites and I love the dimensional elements.
To better show what you will receive in the kit I am sharing this video. Just click here.

National Scrapbooking Month

Well hello everyone! It has been awhile and I totally apologize. I am back though and today is starting a new thing for me. You see today is the first day of May (yes I know it is the second, but I don't work on Sundays, so I am pretending it is the first!) and May is National Scrapbooking Month. So to get myself into gear I am challenging myself to post a layout a day. This way I will get caught up (or at least a little closer:) and hopefully spark some creativity in my awesome followers. I will also be having weekly linky parties and giveaways.

I also want to share a few things with you, first is that this month Close to My Heart has put together an awesome kit that you can get at a discount ($15) if you order $50 or more in Close to My Heart product. You can also buy the kit for $34.95. It is called the You and Me kit and I LOVE it! (In fact today's pictures will feature it!).

Second thing that I wanted to share is that I am doing free shipping for any hostesses this month. So if you want to earn some free product and have it shipped for free, just let me know! (I will also give this to those that book a gathering this month but the date is in the beginning of June).

Third the consultant kit is 50% off this month, so if you have been thinking of becoming a consultant this month is the month to do it. Oh, and Close to My Heart is also giving new consultants the You and Me kit for FREE.

Yikes there is a lot going on, so without further ado here is today's layout featuring the You and Me kit:
