Elemental Layout

So I am just in love with the Elemental paper pack (X7141B, $9.95). It is so fun to work with and has a ton of different colors to choose from. Like the birthday cards in the last post are mostly cranberry and pacifica while the layout today is focused on creme brulee and lagoon. Today I am sharing a layout that I made using product from the new Idea Book.

These are some fun summer photos from June. (I am not one who scrapbooks in order, I just scrapbook whatever photos fit with my paper and this way I don't feel terribly behind:)
My littles love to have outside time with daddy and the swing set, so I thought I would capture some of these moments so that we can always remember those little things.

Here is a close up of the Color Ready Alphabets Cork (Z1450, $5.95) and the Milepost Shapes (Z1464, $3.95). I LOVE the cork alphabets. They are self adhesive and I can add any darker color I want to them (just allow plenty of time to dry). I love the dimension that both the milepost shapes and the cork give to the layout. So fun! I also used the Bronze glitz glitter gel (Z1483, $2.75) to add a little sparkle. By the way I am in love with this product too! It is like having a bottle of bronze sparkle brads and it is super inexpensive.

Here are some close-ups of the second page. I used the Love Life stamp set (D1482, $17.95) for the stars and also along the top adding a little border to add a little more depth to the layout. (Can you tell I had an awesome class by Tresa Black at convention regarding glitz and depth to scrapbooking?) The Love life stamp set is one that coordinates with the new Cricut Cartridge that is exclusive to Close to My Heart. I will be doing a separate post on that later (once I earn enough money to get me a cricut! Or August 15th when purchasing the cricut cartridge bundle becomes an amazing deal) I also used a stampset that was exclusive to the You and Me kit for the tickets (sorry if you missed it!) To make the ticket that has the date on it, I stamped one of the other tickets and cut it out and used the backside to do add the date. I hope you are enjoying the new products that are available in the new Idea Book. If you haven't yet seen it just click here to see it online. If you want a hard copy just let me know!

Happy Scrapping!
